Putnam Reads is a publicly funded non-profit organization that promotes the development of early childhood literacy skills in children from birth to age 5, especially those who need the most help with getting access to age-appropriate books for their home. Using donations from people in our own local counties we provide resources to encourage parents and family members to enjoy quality, age-appropriate books in the home.
We have set up ways to help us with our campaign to raise money to continue raising money each year to provide our young readers with a foundation for success by covering the cost of books.

At a cost of $31 per child per year, Putnam Reads, in conjunction with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, mails almost 900 books per month, including one for each age-appropriate child enrolled at the schools and day cares in Putnam County. You can help us to cover that cost by adopting one or more readers. That donation can be given to any Putnam Reads volunteer, mailed to the address above, or given online by using this QR code.

(1) Scan QR code to go to website and enter the donation amount information.
